DIABETES: If I have some risk factors for diabetes, how often should I be tested?

      If you are not experiencing any symptoms, an annual checkup should be enough. Your glucose levels should be under 100; ideally between 80-90. If you are experiencing any symptoms such as weakness, frequent urination, increased hunger or thirst, or frequent infections, then get a fasting test as soon as possible.
