      Dr. Liu:

Foraminal Stenosis is a narrowing of the canal where nerves exit from the spinal canal. Stenosis is very common due to degeneration. If the narrowing is mild, the patients will not feel that (Foraminal Stenosis is asymptomatic). However, if Foraminal Stenosis is severe, they may have persistent or unbearable pain. If not treated, the damage can be permanent.
