Such a topic should be discussed with a physician, to clarify what his/her suggestion is. 6 times a day can generally give enough pre- / post-meal information to determine how foods affect sugar levels. At least two tests per day, one every morning and 2 hours after one meal, rotating. Keep in mind that due to hormonal elevations during the night, morning levels tend to be elevated.
